Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients, ensuring dignity and respect
Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility)
Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team
Support safe transfers and ambulation, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
Communicate clearly and kindly with patients, families, and the care team to promote coordinated care
Document care accurately in patient records and complete assigned charting tasks on time

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania (required)
Completion of an accredited CNA training program
CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain if required by the facility
Ability to pass background check and any required health screenings/immunizations
Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-first attitude

Education

High school diploma or GED; completion of an approved CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

Basic clinical skills: vital signs, ADL assistance, infection control
Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Clear, compassionate communication with patients and team members
Time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
Comfortable with charting and basic electronic documentation
