Shift Type: 36 hours per week guaranteed, 12-hour shifts, rotating weekends as per schedule

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care delivery in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
Provide clinical leadership to the patient care team during your assigned shifts
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Administer medications, perform procedures, and monitor patient status with precision and compassion
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions

Qualifications

At least 3 years of recent Emergency Room experience - required
Active, unrestricted Illinois RN license - required
Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications - required
TNCC certification is strongly preferred
Willingness to work 36 hours per week including rotating weekends

Knowledge & Skills

Expert patient assessment and clinical decision-making
Proficient in patient care planning and implementation
Strong clinical leadership and team collaboration skills
Ability to thrive in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment
