Shift Type: Varies/Days, rotating weekends, 40 hours per week

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert cardiac care to surgical and procedural sedation patients across pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and elderly
Collaborate with a diverse team of provider specialties to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Circulate and scrub in complex cardiac surgeries including open-heart procedures
Monitor patients pre- and post-operatively, transitioning them from the OR to ICU or discharge
Maintain a safe, sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols

Qualifications

Current unencumbered Oregon RN license - must be active upon submission
Healthcare Provider Level BLS and AHA ACLS certifications required
Minimum 1 year experience as a Circulating Nurse in the OR or completion of approved didactic pre-operative nursing class
At least 2 years experience in ICU/PCU or medical/surgical acute care setting
Minimum 1 year CVOR/Open Heart experience is REQUIRED
ICU and scrubbing experience strongly preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in circulating and scrubbing for cardiac and open-heart surgeries
Strong understanding of perioperative nursing and cardiac care
Skilled in ACLS, BLS, and emergency response
Experience with Point Click EMR
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
