Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM with on call one night every 2 weeks and one weekend every 6 weeks

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional care in open heart surgeries, making a real difference in patients' lives
Collaborate seamlessly with surgical teams in a fast-paced OR setting
Master complex cases while adapting to varying workloads with precision
Respond confidently during on-call shifts to support critical procedures

Qualifications

Active RN license with Nursys verification
Minimum 2 years of solid OR experience, especially in open heart procedures
Proficiency in EPIC system for smooth documentation
Current certifications including BLS, PALS, ACLS, NIHSS, and DCI/BVP

Education

RN degree from an accredited nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in busy OR environments and surgical workflows
Strong EPIC charting skills
On-call readiness with calm under pressure
Prime exams including Basic Pharmacology, Rhythm Interpretation, Specialty, Core Competencies, and Skills Checklist
