Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM with 4 weekend shifts per month

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $32 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate care to med-surg patients on a vibrant 32-bed unit
Monitor vital signs and utilize telemetry for proactive patient support
Collaborate with a dedicated team of RNs, LVNs and PCTs to ensure outstanding outcomes
Operate essential equipment like bladder scanners and vital sign machines with confidence
Contribute to a healing environment using Meditech EMR for seamless documentation

Qualifications

Active LVN license in Texas
BLS certification required
Hospital experience essential
1+ years of nursing experience welcomed with open arms
3+ years preferred for those ready to shine

Education

LVN licensure from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Med Surg nursing expertise
Proficiency with telemetry and vital sign monitoring
Comfortable using Meditech EMR
Strong team collaboration and patient care skills
Open to feedback with an owner mentality
