Roles & Responsibilities

• Demonstrate deep knowledge of surgical procedures and problem-solve on the fly to ensure smooth operations
• Verify and assemble all equipment, supplies, and sterile instruments perfectly for every case
• Maintain impeccable sterile fields, spotting and addressing any breaks in technique swiftly
• Anticipate surgeon needs and keep precise counts of medications, sharps, instruments, and sponges
• Set up sterile fields efficiently while ensuring accurate billing for patient supplies

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CST experience in the Operating Room
• Hands-on experience with Ortho, Sports Medicine, OB/GYN, Ophthalmic, Urology, and C-Sections
• Active NBSTSA Certification
• Active American Heart Association BLS
• Recent Skills Checklist for Operating Room (within 1 year)
• 2 supervisory references from the last two years
• Travel experience preferred, plus comfort with the outlined shift schedule
