Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 8-hour shifts with rotating weekends

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver hands-on manual therapy for neurological re-education that transforms patient lives
Design and lead therapeutic exercises to rebuild strength and mobility
Guide functional activities training to restore independence
Apply neuromuscular re-education techniques for optimal recovery
Implement self-care programs and functional electrical stimulation
Collaborate with the 10 OT/PT teams, speech therapists, and techs in a 44-bed inpatient rehab unit
Use AIDET communication to create exceptional patient experiences

Qualifications

Active Occupational Therapy license
2+ years of experience, with hospital and inpatient rehab preferred
Stroke evaluation and treatment expertise
Comfortable with patient ratios of 4:1 in a dynamic rehab environment

Education

Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy
NBCOT certification preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Hospital and inpatient rehab experience
Stroke evaluation and treatment proficiency
Familiarity with advanced equipment like Sara Lifts, Ceiling Lifts, Bioness, and Diego
Meditech Expanse documentation system
Experience with manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-ed, self-care, and functional e-stim
