Roles & Responsibilities

• Apply sharp clinical judgment to diagnose and treat patient responses in the bustling Cardiovascular Unit
• Care for over 4000 cardiology patients yearly, handling cutting-edge procedures like PTCA, stents, TAVR, and MitraClip
• Support post-op open heart surgery patients during their critical 18-24 hour recovery phase
• Specialize in congestive heart failure and electrophysiology studies, making a real difference
• Contribute to national clinical trials through the innovative NISUS research department
• Collaborate with a top-performing team in a Silver Beacon Award-winning unit

Qualifications

• Active Michigan RN license (LARA and Nursys verification required)
• 1+ year of Stepdown experience
• Proficiency in Cardiac care
• EKG comfortability
• Willingness to float to similar units
• Recent skills checklist for RN specialties

Education

• RN licensure required
