Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 4 total weekend shifts per 4 weeks

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Stabilize and care for lower acuity patients with ESI 3-4 levels
Perform all labs, EKGs, phlebotomy, and patient transfers
Float to nearby FSEDs like Litchfield and Glendale when needed
Maintain sterile field during procedures like Foley insertions and port-a-cath care
Collaborate with PCTs, paramedics, and charge nurses in a 1:4 ratio
Foster positive culture and exceptional teamwork in a 12-bed ED

Qualifications

Active RN license
2+ years of experience
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Proficiency with Cerner EMR
Competence in sterile field procedures and basic skills
Natural hair color, no facial piercings, clean-shaven for fit test if male

Education

BSN preferred but not required

Knowledge & Skills

Emergency Room patient care
Lower acuity stabilization and transfers
Labs, EKGs, and phlebotomy
Sterile technique for catheters and dressings
Teamwork in fast-paced small facility ED
