Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 36 guaranteed hours weekly including rotating weekends
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver critical care to MICU patients managing ventilators and advanced equipment
- Perform life-saving procedures including central lines, intubations and cardioversions
- Monitor and respond to high-acuity cases using cutting-edge tools like Arctic Sun and GE monitors
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Document meticulously in Meditech while adapting to varying patient acuities
Qualifications
- Active RN Texas license (no temp licenses accepted)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- 2+ years MICU or MSICU experience to hit the ground running
- CCRN certification preferred for top consideration
Education
- RN licensure with relevant ICU nursing education
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise with ICU equipment like ventilators, NXStage dialysis and Arctic Sun cooling
- Proficiency in Meditech documentation system
- Strong skills in high-acuity critical care procedures
- Ability to float as needed with adaptability to unit demands
