Respiratory Therapist - RRT
Location: Ocala, Florida
Start Date: 03-16-2026
End Date: 06-15-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, every other weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver life-saving respiratory care to patients across the hospital
- Manage ventilators like the BP840 with confidence and precision
- Collaborate with critical care teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Document accurately in Meditech to ensure seamless care continuity
- Respond swiftly to patient needs in high-acuity settings
Qualifications
- Active RRT license
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in respiratory therapy
- Critical care experience to hit the ground running
Education
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in ventilator management including BP840
- Strong critical care respiratory skills
- Proficiency with Meditech documentation
- Excellent patient assessment and airway management abilities
