Roles & Responsibilities

• Set up and monitor advanced CT equipment to deliver precise diagnostic scans
• Safely position patients and administer contrast media with expert care
• Capture and maintain high-quality images that aid critical diagnoses
• Calibrate equipment daily and ensure top-notch image quality standards
• Monitor patient safety, respond to emergencies, and provide compassionate care
• Collaborate with radiologists on specialized procedures to impact patient outcomes
• Organize schedules and mentor new team members for seamless operations

Qualifications

• Active Michigan radiology license or certification
• 2+ years of Xray OR experience required
• Traveler experience preferred
• Skills checklist completed within the past year
• References not required but welcome

Education

• Registry certification in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Relevant radiology technology education or training

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in computerized tomography scanning and CT equipment operation
• Proficient in contrast media injection and patient positioning
• Skilled in maintaining image quality and equipment calibration
• Knowledge of patient safety protocols and emergency response including CPR
• Familiarity with electronic image capture, storage, and transfer
