Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Friday-Monday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (9-10 hour days)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate patients in the acute care hospital setting to create personalized care plans
Apply specialized therapy techniques to improve patient function and mobility
Coordinate therapeutic care across multidisciplinary teams including PTs, OTs and speech therapists
Communicate progress effectively with patients, families and hospital staff
Treat diverse cases across orthopedics, neurology and cardiopulmonary rehab
Utilize advanced patient lifting equipment to ensure safe, effective sessions

Qualifications

At least 2 years of experience, with acute care preferred
Current North Carolina license to practice Physical Therapy
BLS certification required
Experience in orthopedics, neurology or cardiopulmonary a plus

Education

Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in Cerner Power Chart documentation
Expertise with patient lifting equipment like SARA+, Stedy and Maximove
Strong skills in acute care rehabilitation procedures
Comfort working 1:1 patient ratios in single-patient rooms
