Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, every other weekend and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Master patient transfers using hoyer lifts and sliding boards to promote safe mobility
Perform bladder scans, dressing changes and medication administration with precision and care
Document rehab scoring to track meaningful patient progress
Collaborate with a tight-knit team during bedside reports and hourly rounding
Activate bed alarms and ensure safety in this 15-bed inpatient rehab haven

Qualifications

Active RN licensure and BLS certification
At least 1 year of nursing experience
Must-have transfer training and EMR proficiency
Rehab experience and scoring documentation preferred
Team player who takes initiative with a positive spirit

Education

RN licensure required

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in Meditech EMR and Pyxis medication systems
Skilled in rehab equipment like VS machines, EKG and transfer tools
Experienced with patient ratios of 5:1 max 6:1
Comfortable floating to med-surg, tele, renal and ortho units
