Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct swallow evaluations for post-extubation patients, stroke protocols, and more to ensure safe recovery
Perform comprehensive speech and language evaluations and deliver targeted treatments
Provide expert dysphagia treatments to improve patient outcomes
Masterfully execute MBS studies with full proficiency on adult and geriatric acute care patients
Document care seamlessly in Meditech while advocating fiercely for your patients

Qualifications

Active Florida Speech Language Pathology License (no provisionals please)
CCC-SLP certification
BLS from American Heart Association
At least 2 years of experience, especially in acute care with adults and geriatrics

Education

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent required for CCC-SLP

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in MBS/fluoro procedures
Expertise in swallow, speech, and language evaluations and treatments
Comfortable with Meditech documentation
Independent clinician ready to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment
