Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM + call (average 12 call days including weekends, response time 30 min)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $88 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist in performing cardiac invasive procedures and peripheral interventions, making a real difference in patient outcomes
Respond swiftly to calls with a 30-minute turnaround, showcasing your quick thinking
Collaborate with cardiologists, techs, and the charge nurse in a dynamic 2-lab suite environment
Manage vents and support 8 cases per day, handling everything from diagnostics to EVAR
Provide top-tier care in Cerner charting while enjoying hospital-provided scrubs

Qualifications

Active RN license in hand
2 years of hands-on Cath Lab experience
Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
Pass the Relias Dys exam prior to contract (with 2 attempts allowed)
2 supervisory references: one within 12 months and one within 3 years

Education

BSN preferred but not required

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in cardiac cath procedures excluding structural heart
Skilled in peripheral interventions like carotid, A/V grafts, and EVAR
Proficient with Cerner EMR and high-volume case management
Comfortable with call requirements and rapid response
Team player who thrives in fast-paced acute care settings
