Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM with call required and flexibility for day/evening hours as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist in complex cardiovascular procedures like AVR, MVR, CABG, Bentall and dissections to save lives
Maintain sterile fields with precision in a high-volume Level I trauma OR
Collaborate seamlessly with surgical teams during open heart surgeries
Utilize Meditech EMR to document critical patient care
Adapt quickly to night shift demands and on-call scenarios

Qualifications

Active NBSTA and DORA Certifications required
Minimum 2 years acute care hospital experience as CVOR CST
Proven open heart surgery experience
Level I trauma experience preferred
Team player with high accountability and self-direction

Education

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in CVOR procedures and sterile technique
Proficiency with Meditech electronic medical records
Strong trauma case handling in fast-paced environments
Open heart surgery instrumentation and support
