Location: Portsmouth, New Hampshire

End Date: 07-08-2025

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Day shift, 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM with call requirement of one weekend a month and 2-3 days per week

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Scrub complex cardiac, vascular and thoracic procedures like CABG, valves and TAVR
Support open heart surgeries and Level 2 trauma coverage
Collaborate with a tight-knit team of 9 staff members
Maintain sterile field during high-stakes OR cases
Respond promptly to calls with 30-minute callback time

Qualifications

CST/ORT certification
2+ years of experience
Cardiac, vascular and thoracic surgical experience required
Punctual with flexible schedule availability

Education

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Operating Room Technician (ORT)

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in scrubbing cardiac and vascular cases
Proficiency with Meditech EMR
Familiarity with advanced procedures including LVAD, ECMO and EVAR
Team-oriented and self-motivated personality
