Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, minimum 3 weekend shifts per month

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional critical care to post-open heart patients, making a real difference in their recovery
Perform intubations and advanced hemodynamic monitoring with precision and confidence
Manage life-saving equipment like Impella heart pumps and CRRT, showcasing your specialized skills
Respond swiftly to rapids and code blues as part of the critical care team
Collaborate with a dedicated SICU team to provide top-tier patient care
Float to PCU or med-surg units when needed, broadening your impact

Qualifications

Active RN license with at least 2 years of ICU experience
Cardiac critical care experience is a must
BLS and ACLS certifications required, CCRN is a fantastic plus

Education

RN degree from an accredited nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in ICU nursing including intubations and hemodynamic monitoring
Proficiency with Impella heart pump and CRRT
Strong cardiac critical care background
Comfortable using Meditech documentation system and advanced equipment like Hemosphere
