Shift Type: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver expert respiratory treatments and care to patients with breathing challenges like asthma, pneumonia and emphysema
Evaluate patient needs and provide life-saving interventions in a fast-paced acute care setting
Operate advanced equipment including Servo I ventilators, Hamilton ventilators, V60 and Astral CPAP/BIPAP machines
Perform ABGs, CPT and nebulizer therapies to improve patient outcomes
Collaborate with a close-knit team including physicians to ensure top-notch patient care

Qualifications

Active BLS and ACLS certifications required
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
2+ years of acute care hospital RRT experience
Florida RRT license or ability to obtain

Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with Meditech EMR system
Experience with trauma patients a plus
Critical thinking in high-pressure situations
Team player mindset with strong patient focus
