Shift Type: Night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend (Sat, Sun), weekdays flexible

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional care to med-surg patients on a 25-bed unit
Perform strong patient assessments to catch issues early
Administer medications safely using Pyxis systems and IV pumps
Place IVs and Foley catheters with precision and confidence
Collaborate with unit secretaries and PCTs for seamless teamwork
Participate in hourly rounding and BSSR for outstanding patient experience
Float PRN between MS units to keep things dynamic and rewarding

Qualifications

Active RN license with at least 2 years of med-surg experience
BLS certification required, NIHSS and CPI preferred
Comfortable with night shifts and every other weekend scheduling

Education

RN licensure from an accredited nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient assessment abilities
Expertise with IV pumps and Pyxis medication dispensing
Familiarity with Meditech documentation system
Experience with advanced equipment like Sara Steady, Wound Vac, and remote telemetry
