Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside nursing care to assigned patients during overnight shifts
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and in line with facility protocols
• Perform timely assessments, monitor vital signs, and document clinical observations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support patient safety and continuity of care
• Respond to patient needs and emergencies with calm, decisive clinical action
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff to ensure clear care plans

Qualifications

• Active LPN license (required) — must be eligible to practice in Georgia
• Clinical experience in acute care or hospital settings preferred
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred/encouraged
• Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills
• Reliable, professional, and able to work independently during overnight hours

Education

• LPN diploma or equivalent from an accredited program; high school diploma or GED required

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of bedside nursing practices and infection control
• Comfortable with electronic documentation and charting
• Excellent prioritization and time-management during 12.5-hour shifts
• Strong communication skills for patient/family interactions and handoffs
• Ability to respond calmly and effectively in urgent clinical situations
