Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs accurately and promptly
Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and safe positioning
Document patient care in the chart and communicate changes to the clinical team
Maintain a clean, safe, and infection-controlled environment
Support nursing staff with treatments and assist with care planning
Build trusting relationships with patients and their families through respectful communication

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania or eligible for state certification
Previous experience as a nursing assistant preferred but new graduates are welcome
Ability to pass background check and drug screening per facility policy
Immunizations and TB testing according to facility requirements
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed CNA training program and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in basic patient care and activities of daily living
Familiarity with taking and recording vital signs and observing patient condition
Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
Good charting and documentation habits
Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork
Time management and ability to prioritize patient needs
