Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff
Assist with safe patient transfers, mobility, and positioning
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
Support patient dignity and comfort through respectful communication and care
Document care provided in the patient record and communicate handoffs clearly

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required)
Active Pennsylvania CNA license or ability to obtain one
Current CPR/BLS certification (required or obtain upon hire)
Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings/immunizations
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Education

High school diploma or equivalent and CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in basic patient care and ADLs (bathing, feeding, toileting)
Comfortable taking vital signs and recognizing changes in condition
Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
Basic charting/EMR familiarity and accurate documentation habits
Good interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and staff
