Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with left and right heart catheterizations and a full range of cardiac and peripheral interventional procedures
• Monitor patients closely in the Cath Lab using hemodynamic and imaging systems, ensuring patient safety at every step
• Prepare and operate advanced devices such as IVUS, OCT, Philips Laser System, and various atherectomy tools
• Support pacemaker insertions, thrombectomy, stenting, PTCA and carotid interventions with expert clinical care
• Provide compassionate pre- and post-procedure care, including patient transport and handoffs
• Participate in a rotating call schedule to provide urgent coverage during evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
• Collaborate with cardiologists, interventional radiologists and surgical teams to deliver coordinated care

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN license (Oklahoma license or compact license preferred)
• Experience in Cath Lab nursing with hands-on exposure to left/right heart caths, PTCA, stenting and peripheral interventions
• Familiarity with imaging and hemodynamic systems (Siemens Artis Zee, McKesson CPACS/Cardiology/Hemodynamic)
• Proficiency with IVUS, OCT and various coronary/peripheral atherectomy devices
• Comfort with on-call rotation and the ability to respond to evenings, nights, weekends and holiday coverage
• Strong patient monitoring skills and the ability to triage and escalate concerns quickly
• BLS required; ACLS and specialty Cath Lab certifications preferred

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Nursing diploma holders with strong Cath Lab experience will be considered

Knowledge & Skills

• Cath Lab procedures and workflow
• Left and Right Heart Catheterization techniques
• Interventional skills: PTCA, stenting, thrombectomy, atherectomy, peripheral interventions
• Patient monitoring and hemodynamic assessment
• Operation and troubleshooting of Philips Laser, IVUS, OCT and Siemens Artis Zee C-arms
• Familiarity with McKesson CPACS, Cardiology and Hemodynamic systems
• Pre- and post-op patient care and safe patient transport
• Call rotation practices and urgent response in interventional settings
