Location: Woodsville, NH

Start Date: 04-24-2026

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 12.5-hour Med/Surg shift (specific start/end times and scheduled days to be confirmed)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $52 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care on the Med/Surg unit
Assess and monitor patient status and respond to changes promptly
Administer medications and therapies safely and accurately
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and update care plans
Document care, interventions, and patient responses clearly in the medical record
Educate patients and families about condition, care plans, and discharge instructions
Promote a safe, clean environment and adhere to infection control standards

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (NH license or Compact eligibility preferred)
Clinical Med/Surg experience—comfortable managing multiple patients and acuity
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS and PALS a plus
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly
Reliable, professional, and committed to high-quality patient care

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient assessment and clinical decision-making skills
Medication administration knowledge and IV therapy competence
Charting and documentation proficiency (electronic medical record experience helpful)
Time management, prioritization, and the ability to handle a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
