Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care, monitoring patient condition and reporting changes
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policy
Perform thorough patient assessments and document findings accurately
Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary teams to support care plans
Educate patients and families on care needs, medications, and follow-up instructions
Maintain strict infection control and safety standards at all times
Support timely handoffs and clear communication during shift changes

Qualifications

Current LPN license in the state of Georgia (required)
Completion of an accredited practical nursing program
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or willingness to obtain
Previous LPN clinical experience preferred
Strong clinical judgment, reliable documentation skills, and a team-oriented attitude

Education

Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN) program; high school diploma or GED required

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and vital sign interpretation
Medication administration and accurate documentation
Wound care and basic nursing procedures
Electronic medical record/charting proficiency
Effective communication with patients, families, and clinical teams
Time management and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced setting
