Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in accordance with facility policies
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately as ordered
Monitor and document patient status, noting changes and escalating concerns promptly
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate quality care
Perform timely and thorough shift handoffs and maintain accurate medical records
Support patient education and provide emotional support to patients and families

Qualifications

Active LPN license in Georgia (or compact/state-appropriate) required
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or required per facility
Comfortable with medication administration, wound care, and basic nursing procedures
Strong communication and teamwork skills; patient-focused attitude
Ability to meet facility immunization and health screening requirements

Education

Graduate of an accredited Practical/Vocational Nursing program (LPN/LVN)

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamental nursing knowledge and clinical assessment skills
Familiarity with medication administration and documentation best practices
Ability to prioritize patient care and handle multiple tasks efficiently
Basic electronic medical record (EMR) navigation and documentation skills
Infection control principles and safe patient handling techniques
