Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on patient care and basic nursing support in an acute care setting
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
• Perform vital signs, document observations accurately, and maintain clear patient records
• Support safe patient transfers and use appropriate body mechanics at all times
• Work collaboratively with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver excellent care
• Maintain infection control standards and a clean, safe environment for patients
• Demonstrate professionalism, respect, and patient-centered communication with patients and families

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential in good standing (required)
• Completion of an accredited CNA program or equivalent training
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Experience in acute care settings is a strong plus
• Ability to pass facility background checks and meet immunization requirements
• Reliable, punctual, and ready to be part of a collaborative healthcare team

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient care and bedside skills tailored to acute care needs
• Proficiency with vital signs measurement and documentation
• Knowledge of infection control practices and safety protocols
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy 12.5-hour shifts
