Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate Med/Surg and pediatric nursing care to patients
Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient-centered care
Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and discharge instructions
Participate in orientation, training, and unit-based quality improvement activities
Maintain accurate electronic medical records and ensure regulatory compliance

Qualifications

Current and valid RN license in California
Experience in Medical-Surgical nursing and pediatric patient care
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Ability to pass facility onboarding requirements (immunizations, TB screening, background checks)
Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical assessment skills

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and monitoring across Med/Surg and pediatric populations
Medication administration and IV therapy fundamentals
Familiarity with pediatric growth, development, and family-centered care
Proficiency with electronic medical records and accurate documentation
Critical thinking, prioritization, and effective interdisciplinary communication
