Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to patients in accordance with care plans and facility policies
• Administer medications and treatments accurately, documenting each intervention clearly
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and report any significant changes to the care team
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary staff to support excellent patient outcomes
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges to ensure smooth transitions of care
• Maintain meticulous documentation in the patient record and follow charting standards
• Support a safe, clean environment and adhere to infection control protocols

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license — Georgia licensure preferred/required as applicable
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification or willing to obtain
• Comfortable administering medications, performing treatments, and documenting care
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

• LPN diploma or certificate from an accredited program
• Current state LPN license (Georgia) and required certifications to practice

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and basic clinical nursing skills
• Patient assessment and vital sign monitoring
• Accurate charting and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) workflows
• Safe transfer and basic mobility assistance techniques
• Infection control best practices and standard precautions
• Good time management, prioritization, and teamwork in fast-paced settings
