Location: Christiana, PA

Start Date: 04-23-2026

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shifts; exact days and start/end times to be scheduled by the facility (schedule varies)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct care and assistance with activities of daily living to residents
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility needs safely
Measure and document vital signs, intake/output, and other observations accurately
Communicate changes in resident condition to nurses and the care team promptly
Support a safe, clean, and respectful environment for residents and families
Participate in care planning and follow individualized care instructions

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in good standing (required)
State CNA license or proof of completion of an approved CNA program
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or obtained quickly upon hire
Ability to pass background check and required health screenings/immunizations
Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-focused approach

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of a state-approved CNA training program required

Knowledge & Skills

Understanding of activities of daily living (ADLs) and safe resident handling
Basic clinical skills: measuring vitals, observing and reporting changes
Infection control and hand hygiene practices
Reliable documentation and clear communication with the care team
Ability to collaborate respectfully with residents, families, and staff
