Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care and meaningful support
Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and ambulation
Measure and document vital signs and report changes to nursing staff promptly
Support safe patient transfers and use proper body mechanics
Keep patient areas clean, stocked, and comfortable
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team to ensure continuity of care
Participate in orientation and ongoing training to maintain high standards

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (or eligible) in Pennsylvania
Current CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain)
Comfortable assisting with ADLs and basic clinical tasks
Excellent communication skills and a patient-first attitude
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Understanding of infection control and basic safety protocols
Skill in taking and recording vital signs accurately
Familiarity with safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Ability to document care clearly and follow care plans
Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork mindset
