Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care with dignity and respect
- Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
- Support safe mobility and transfer techniques to prevent falls
- Communicate clearly with nurses and interdisciplinary team about patient needs
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
- Document care in a timely and professional manner
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification (state requirements apply)
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Successful background check and health screening (TB, immunizations) as required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Dependable, punctual, and dedicated to patient-centered care
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred; CNA program completion required
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on experience with activities of daily living and resident assistance
- Ability to take and interpret vital signs
- Basic infection control and safety practices
- Good observational skills and ability to report clinical changes
- Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
