Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to adult patients with attention and pride
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document all care accurately
• Perform thorough patient assessments and monitor changes in condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create and follow individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with facility policies and regulatory standards
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure appropriate for practice (Pennsylvania requirements apply)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; advanced certifications such as ACLS encouraged where applicable
• Previous acute care nursing experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team
• Ability to work 8-hour shifts and adapt to unit needs

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Knowledge of medication administration and safe nursing practices
• Comfortable using electronic medical records and standard clinical documentation
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Strong interpersonal skills and patient education ability
