Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care on the Med/Surg unit
Assess, monitor, and document patient condition and response to treatment
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate patient care
Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge plans
Participate in unit-based quality and safety initiatives to improve outcomes

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) credential — required
Clinical experience or comfort working on a Med/Surg unit
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or obtainable
Strong communication and teamwork skills; dependable and patient-centered

Knowledge & Skills

Solid Med/Surg clinical skills and patient assessment abilities
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time in a fast-paced environment
Clear, accurate clinical documentation and charting
Collaborative mindset for working with nurses, physicians, and support staff
