Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and safe positioning
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in patient charts
• Support safe infection control practices and a clean care environment
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver excellent patient care
• Respond promptly to patient needs and calls with a kind, professional attitude

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (preferred: Pennsylvania state certification) in good standing
• Previous experience as a CNA or in direct patient care preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass background check and required health screenings/immunizations
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Physical ability to assist with patient mobility and perform caregiving duties safely

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care principles and activities of daily living
• Proficient in obtaining and documenting vital signs
• Familiarity with infection control and safety protocols
• Good time management and prioritization in a fast-paced setting
• Clear, compassionate communication with patients, families, and staff
• Ability to follow care plans and escalate concerns appropriately
