Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality radiation therapy treatments according to physician prescriptions and established protocols
• Accurately document all treatments and patient interactions in EPIC to maintain clear and current records
• Operate radiation therapy equipment safely and perform routine checks to ensure proper function
• Collaborate with physicians, dosimetrists, nurses, and support staff to coordinate patient care
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans, positioning, and safety to promote understanding and comfort
• Follow radiation safety and infection control policies to protect patients and staff
• Participate in orientation and continuing education to maintain competency and support quality improvement

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of radiation therapy experience
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system
• License to submit as indicated; orientation of approximately 12 hours provided
• Comfort working in an acute care setting and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical knowledge of radiation therapy procedures and patient positioning
• Proficiency with EPIC for accurate charting and documentation
• Strong attention to detail for safe treatment delivery and record keeping
• Effective communication and patient education skills
• Ability to follow strict safety and quality assurance protocols
