Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality PET/CT imaging studies with attention to safety and patient comfort
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including assessment and clear communication
• Operate and maintain PET/CT and related imaging equipment, following protocols
• Ensure accurate documentation and charting in Cerner to support care continuity
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and allied team members for excellent patient outcomes
• Adhere to radiation safety, infection control, and departmental policies at all times
• Participate in orientation and continuing education to maintain skills and certifications

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience (PET/CT or Nuclear Medicine focus)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• State licensure as required (License to submit: Yes)
• Experience with Cerner or similar electronic charting systems
• Strong patient care and communication skills
• Comfort working in an acute care setting (Allied division)

Knowledge & Skills

• PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine imaging knowledge
• Medical imaging best practices and patient preparation
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic charting
• Radiation safety and regulatory compliance
• Ability to troubleshoot imaging equipment and follow QA protocols
• Compassionate patient interaction and clear communication
