Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate PET/CT and nuclear medicine imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely, following protocols and safety standards
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to ensure accurate imaging and patient-centered care
• Maintain clear, timely charting in Cerner and ensure documentation is complete
• Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any clinical needs or emergencies
• Adhere to radiation safety policies and maintain accurate records of materials and exposures
• Participate in unit workflows and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of nuclear medicine / PET/CT experience (as listed in the posting)
• BLS Certification required
• License to submit (candidates must have the appropriate active licensure to be submitted)
• Experience with Cerner charting system preferred/required by this site
• Comfort working in an acute care setting (Trauma Level 3) and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with PET/CT imaging and nuclear medicine procedures
• Strong patient care and monitoring skills during imaging procedures
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records and accurate documentation practices
• Solid understanding of radiation safety and handling of radiopharmaceuticals
• Ability to communicate clearly with patients and clinical teams
