Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care with dignity and respect
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team
Support safe patient transfers and use proper body mechanics
Maintain accurate patient records and communicate clearly with team members
Contribute to a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for patients

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (California) or equivalent state certification
Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred
Up-to-date immunizations and TB screening as required by facility
Ability to pass background check and any required pre-employment screenings
Comfortable working 12-hour day shifts and supporting a busy patient census
Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Current CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamentals of patient care and infection control practices
Able to take and document vital signs accurately
Basic understanding of patient mobility and safe transfer techniques
Good time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
Clear verbal and written communication with patients and staff
Compassionate bedside manner and attention to detail
