Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
Support nursing staff with safe patient transfers and positioning
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control procedures
Document care activities clearly and communicate effectively with the care team

Qualifications

Active CNA certification in good standing
Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings
Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
Comfortable with physical aspects of the role (lifting, standing, assisting patients)
Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic nursing care and resident-centered approaches
Skilled in taking vitals and recognizing changes in condition
Familiarity with infection control and safe patient handling
Good charting practices and basic electronic health record comfort
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
