Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist residents with activities of daily living
Perform consistent patient checks and accurately record vital signs
Assist with safe transfers and positioning while following proper body mechanics
Communicate observations and changes in resident condition to the nursing team
Maintain accurate documentation and charts to support continuity of care
Follow infection control, safety protocols, and facility procedures to keep residents safe
Collaborate with the care team to deliver person-centered care and improve resident outcomes

Qualifications

Active CNA certification in Pennsylvania (required)
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Demonstrated compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills
Prior experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar settings is a plus
Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA training program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Comfortable with resident hygiene, toileting, feeding, and mobility assistance
Proficient in taking and recording vital signs accurately
Familiarity with infection prevention and safety best practices
Strong teamwork, time management, and interpersonal skills
Basic charting and documentation skills
