Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Variable days, 4-hour shifts (start times vary); orientation required

Candidate Pay Rate: $25 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
Monitor and record patient status including vital signs and basic observations
Support nursing staff with safe patient transfers and mobility assistance
Maintain clear, accurate documentation and communicate changes in patient condition
Help maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
Participate actively in orientation and continuous learning to deliver the best care

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred
PCT certification or CNA certification preferred
Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain during orientation)
Comfortable working with diverse patient populations and following care plans
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with the care team

Education

High School Diploma or GED; PCT/CNA certification preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamentals of patient hygiene and mobility assistance
Basic vital signs monitoring and documentation
Infection control and safe patient handling techniques
Familiarity with electronic health record basics or willingness to learn
Teamwork, reliability, and a patient-centered mindset
