Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care including assisting with activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs accurately and report any changes to the nursing team
Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and safe use of equipment
Maintain clean, safe, and respectful patient environments
Communicate clearly and kindly with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team
Document care accurately and promptly in the patient record
Support infection control practices and follow facility policies and procedures

Qualifications

Valid Pennsylvania CNA certification in good standing
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
High school diploma or GED preferred
Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered mindset
Dependable, punctual, and able to work cooperatively within a team

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Active CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Proven ability to assist with bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting
Competence in measuring and recording vital signs
Familiarity with basic infection control and safety procedures
Comfortable with patient transfers and safe body mechanics
Basic electronic charting and documentation skills
Good observational skills and the ability to escalate concerns appropriately
