Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging studies while prioritizing patient comfort and safety
• Operate and troubleshoot CT equipment, following established protocols and radiation safety guidelines
• Collaborate closely with radiologists and the imaging team to ensure accurate imaging and timely results
• Prepare patients for procedures, obtain relevant histories, and verify imaging orders
• Maintain clear, accurate documentation in PACS/EHR and ensure images are properly labeled and archived
• Participate in quality assurance activities and maintain equipment cleanliness and readiness

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience (as indicated in the job posting)
• ARRT (R) certification or ARRT CT credential preferred (or ARRT-eligible with documentation)
• Current state licensure in Kansas or ability to obtain KS radiologic technologist licensure
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
• Comfortable using PACS and common imaging workflows; strong patient communication skills

Education

• Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology or CT program; ARRT certification preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Thorough knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and CT imaging protocols
• Strong understanding of radiation safety and dose optimization techniques
• Proficiency with CT scanners, PACS, and image post-processing
• Excellent patient positioning and IV/contrast administration skills
• Detail-oriented with solid documentation and time-management abilities
