Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Take and record vital signs accurately and report any changes to the nursing team promptly
Support safe mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
Maintain clean, comfortable resident environments and follow infection control practices
Observe and document resident behavior and condition changes clearly and timely
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
Ability to provide compassionate, resident-focused care with strong communication skills
Willingness to complete facility-required onboarding, background check, and health screenings
Comfortable with basic charting and following care plans
Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team

Education

Completion of an approved CNA training program
High school diploma or GED preferred but not required

Knowledge & Skills

Understanding of basic patient care and activities of daily living
Basic vital signs measurement and documentation skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Familiarity with infection control and safe patient handling principles
Attention to detail and reliable observational skills
