Candidate Pay Rate: $38 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care as an LPN to residents
Administer medications and treatments accurately and document in the medical record
Monitor patient status and report changes to the interdisciplinary care team
Assist with care planning and follow established care protocols for quality outcomes
Communicate clearly and kindly with residents, families, and team members
Support safe, clean, and comfortable living environments for residents

Qualifications

Current LPN license in good standing (Connecticut preferred)
CPR certification (BLS) or willingness to obtain upon hire
Comfortable with medication administration and basic nursing procedures
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus
Pass a background check and meet facility health requirements

Education

Diploma or certificate in Practical Nursing (LPN) or equivalent accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in basic nursing assessments and resident care
Knowledge of medication administration and documentation practices
Familiarity with electronic medical records and charting
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time during an 8-hour shift
Strong interpersonal skills for working with residents and families
Understanding of infection control and safety protocols
