Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting) with dignity and respect
Take and document vital signs and report changes to the nursing team promptly
Provide compassionate bedside care and emotional support to residents
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident care and observations
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver person-centered care
Follow infection control policies and ensure a clean, safe environment for residents

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential — required
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Comfortable working in a long-term care or skilled nursing environment
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
Up-to-date immunizations as required by the facility

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in assisting with ADLs and resident transfers
Knowledgeable in taking and recording vital signs accurately
Familiarity with basic infection control practices
Good documentation and charting habits
Compassionate bedside manner and strong observational skills
Ability to follow care plans and communicate changes effectively
