Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents and patients
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
Take and document vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
Support nursing staff with patient care tasks and follow assigned care plans
Maintain a safe, clean environment and practice infection control measures
Communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, families, and the care team

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania or eligibility to obtain state certification
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or able to obtain upon hire
Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required
Previous experience as a CNA preferred but new grads who are certified are welcome
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; compassionate patient focus
Ability to perform physical aspects of the role, including lifting and standing for shifts

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Current CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Patient care fundamentals and safe body mechanics
Vital signs measurement and basic clinical observations
Infection control practices and hand hygiene
Basic charting and documentation skills; ability to follow care plans
Teamwork, time management, and effective communication with patients and staff
